If a driver wants to make a safe ride during the fall months, then he has to pay some attention towards fall car care. In fact, I think the shorter days and cooler climate of fall make it a great time to prepare our vehicle for coming driving spells. But it is quite unfortunate to say that, most of the car owners completely overlook fall car care. I don't know why they do so. Perhaps they are unaware of the importance of fall car aftercare. Well, in this regard I just want to say that fall car maintenance is a seasonal car care and it is equally important as winter and summer maintenance. So, every car owner should take the help of a car specialist in order to provide his automobile with an effectual fall aftercare.

There are some good tips about the maintenance in this post. Cars are nothing but machines and needs maintenance at a regular interval so that it perform efficiently and for a relatively longer periods. Life span of car parts increases if we take appropriate care of our cars. We should take our cars to the ASE certified servicing centers for servicing at a regular interval of about six months. If you find even a small damage then take your vehicle to a trusted repair center before it getting large. You can do some research on the repairing shop before taking your vehicles to the repair center. I have had some very bad experience when I took my car to a repair center without doing research on it, and I don't want anyone to follow the same course as I had. Thank you for sharing such a post.

I have had an accident during previous winter. As the tread depth is very less to create any friction, so I couldn't control my car and had an accident. I never took seriously the depth or tire's tread. I didn't replace my tire during the winter, I even didn't had any idea about my tire's tread depth, and hence I got an accident, and gain a very bad experience. I don't want anybody to face such type situation. So just replace your over used tires with new one. It would be good if you take winter tire. If I could have read this article before my accident, then I couldn't face such situation. Thanks again for sharing such type of informative post with us.

This is all about car care or maintenance tips to keep our vehicle safe & reliable on the road in Autumn. First of all we have to perform an oil change maintenance service & tire rotation. The automobile tires & wheel tread must be checked for safe traction. The brakes should be checked as these are the most important parts in a vehicle. Car battery should be tested to keep the car starting in colder temperatures. For best visibility,we must keep the headlights & windshield wipers cleaned & perfectly maintained. So all the car owners should remember & follow all the five seasonal car care tips during Autumn.

It is a very informative and useful post. Extreme temperature has very adverse effect on cars. Thoroughly wash and wax your car after winter is over and also clean the interior. Wiper blade should be checked and if any damage found then we should replace it or fix it. Check the belts used in the engine as it also affected due to extreme low temperature during winter. Battery should also be checked as it may be affected during winter, and different fluids used in the car should be checked in and if damaged should be replaced. And an important thing to consider is the tire pressure and tire tread. We have to maintain our tire pressure at optimum level, as according to National highway Traffic and Safety Administration about 600 fatalities and about 33,000 injury occurs in a year for the use of under-inflated tires. And we also waste about one billion gallons of gasoline by using under-inflated tires.

For many car owners, getting an oil change is a mundane task that is most commonly overlooked, delayed, postponed or ignored. However, this task is also vitally important when it comes to vehicle maintenance. Your should always have technicians that are equipped with state-of-the-art tools and diagnostic technology so that you are confident that your oil change gets done properly.

The same goes with brake checks to address any issues that pose a safety risk. A thorough brake and safety check is necessary for your vehicle to be able to have the necessary stopping power.

The bottom line is: All aspects of car repair needs to be entrusted to qualified technicians for you to get the most out of your vehicle.

You have provide some really useful information in this article. Car repairing should be done near an ASE certified repairing center, as they are technically best in their job and are and has much more experience than that of other ordinary mechanics. However, we have to maintain our vehicle in such a way that it could run for a longer period without showing any major problem. We should check the tire pressure and tire tread depth at a regular interval and should check different type of fluid used in our car and if find necessary it should be replaced, so that car run efficiently for a longer period. Wheels should be properly aligned and breaks should be checked at a regular interval, as it is dangerous to ride with a damaged breaking system.

Your car should always be ever ready not just when your kid is going back to his school. Your car always should be smooth and work appropriately. Therefore, don't prioritize any specific time or date for the same.

Winter has many adverse effects on the vehicle. During winter, the roads are generally covered with snow. So it is recommended to use snow tires in vehicles which can provide better grip on the snowy road surface. Battery is affected the most during winter. So it is suggested to conduct volt test on battery to check it's condition and if it is not found in good condition, then we must replace it. Due to excess cold in winter, the oil and other essential fluids become thicker. Therefore it is recommended to use comparatively thinner oil and other thinner fluids.

I'll need to do all those things on my car. I should be able to do some of them at home. For the rest, I'll need to go to a mechanic.

Thank you for your tip to perform an oil change maintenance service and tire rotation before going on a road trip. My son has an old green Honda that he needs to have repaired. I'll be sure to get the oil changed and tire rotated as well.

I completely agree that you should keep your headlights and windshield wipers clear and maintained. If it snows and you don't have one or the either of those, you're a lot more likely to get into a crash. Safety should be the top priority when you're working with your car.

Thanks for the advice to have your tires rotated at the same time that you have your oil changed. I think a lot of people could get used to this routine and it would keep their cars running at their best. Car maintenance is essential if anyone wants to have their vehicle last longer than anticipated.
